A striking set of two vintage coffee tables by Belgo Chrom, Belgium, dating from the 1970s.

These architectural tables feature the glamorous combination for which Belgo Chrom is particularly known: polished brass-toned metal, clear glass and smoked mirrored glass. The strong geometric frames are finished with distinctive faceted corners, giving the tables an elegant jewel-like appearance.

Each table has a clear glass upper surface with clipped corners, floating above a lower smoked mirrored glass shelf. The reflective brass finish and dark mirrored lower level create a beautiful play of light and depth.

The two tables are identical in width and depth but have different heights, allowing them to be positioned together as a layered composition or used separately as coffee, side or occasional tables. Their combination of brass, glass and smoked mirror makes them particularly suited to Hollywood Regency, 1970s Modernist and glamorous contemporary interiors.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition with age-related wear and patina consistent with their age. The metal frames show some oxidation, surface marks and variations to the finish, particularly visible on the legs and lower frame. Glass and mirrored surfaces may show minor signs of previous use.
