Striking vintage Brutalist coffee table dating from the 1970s, combining a substantial solid wood frame with an unusual inset top composed of irregular natural stone pieces.

The tabletop has a wonderful earthy mosaic of ochre, sand, brown and grey tones, set into a dark contrasting grout. The heavy wooden surround has softly rounded edges and a rich warm patina, while the architectural base with chunky square legs and cross stretchers gives the table a strong, sculptural presence.
