A striking vintage French coffee table combining rustic materials with a strong architectural presence. The rectangular top is inset with an attractive arrangement of hexagonal terracotta tiles, displaying a beautiful variation of warm ochre, burnt orange, red and earthy brown tones.

The tiled surface is surrounded by a substantial dark-stained wooden frame with visible traditional construction details and an appealing aged patina. Particularly attractive are the four curved iron supports, giving the table a distinctive combination of French rustic character and understated Brutalist design.

The natural irregularities, colour variations and time-worn surface of the terracotta give this table wonderful authenticity. An excellent statement coffee table for a country house, Mediterranean interior, Belgian-style interior or a more contemporary setting where natural materials provide contrast.
