Monastery Trestle Dining table from France, made in the 1960s. This piece has peg construction. The tabletop is made from wide planks of solid oak, approximately 5cm thick, exhibiting a rustic appearance. Supported by a base featuring two intricately carved legs inspired by antique tables, connected by a removable framework. With no lower framework obstructing the underside of the top, all armchairs can be fully tucked in, maximizing legroom. The table is impeccably finished with a satin lacquer, offering exceptional protection against rings and stains. This lacquer ensures effortless maintenance, allowing daily cleaning with a damp cloth and light household cleaning agents.
