A striking vintage forged iron coffee table combining a sculptural black metal frame with elegant gilt detailing and a clear glass top. The contrast between the textured black iron and warm gold-toned cross stretchers gives the table a sophisticated French Modernist / Hollywood Regency character.

The rectangular frame has a beautifully irregular, hand-worked texture along its perimeter, giving the piece an artisanal appearance. Four cylindrical black legs are connected by slender gilt iron stretchers, which cross beneath the glass and meet in a particularly decorative interlocking knot motif at the centre.

The transparent glass top allows the sculptural construction underneath to remain fully visible. Compact yet highly decorative, this is an excellent accent table for a sophisticated living room, beside a sofa or between lounge chairs.
